Modern Slavery Statement

Last updated: May 2026 · Financial year ending December 2025

Introduction

This statement is made pursuant to Section 54 of the Modern Slavery Act 2015. It sets out the steps that Collective Intelligence has taken to ensure that modern slavery and human trafficking are not taking place within our business or supply chain.

Modern slavery encompasses slavery, servitude, human trafficking, and forced labour. Collective Intelligence has a zero-tolerance approach to any form of modern slavery. We are committed to acting ethically and with integrity in all our business dealings and relationships.

Our Business

Collective Intelligence is a professional services firm providing AI strategy, systems, and training services to organisations across a range of sectors. We are part of The Collective Intelligence Group. Our team comprises employees and specialist contractors operating primarily in the United Kingdom.

As a knowledge-based professional services business, we assess our direct risk of exposure to modern slavery as low. Our workforce is highly skilled, engaged on transparent contractual terms, and paid at or above market rates. We do not operate in sectors or geographies typically associated with high modern slavery risk.

Supply Chain

Our supply chain is limited in scope and consists primarily of cloud computing providers, software vendors, professional services firms, and individual specialist contractors. We procure most services from established organisations operating in regulated markets with their own modern slavery obligations.

We conduct appropriate due diligence on new suppliers and contractors, including review of their policies and practices where modern slavery risk is identified. We expect all suppliers to maintain equivalent standards and to cascade these expectations through their own supply chains.

Policies and Controls

We maintain internal policies governing ethical conduct, fair employment, and supplier relationships. All employees and contractors are engaged on written contracts with transparent terms, and remunerated in accordance with applicable law. We are committed to paying the Real Living Wage as a minimum.

We provide a confidential channel through which employees, contractors, and third parties can raise concerns about modern slavery or any other ethical matter without fear of retaliation. Concerns may be reported to hello@collectiveintelligence.co.

Risk Assessment and Due Diligence

We assess modern slavery risk as part of our wider governance and risk management processes. Given our business model — professional services delivered primarily in the United Kingdom by a skilled workforce — we consider the inherent risk to be low. We nonetheless remain vigilant and committed to ongoing improvement.

We will continue to review and strengthen our due diligence processes as our business grows and as best practice in this area develops.

Training and Awareness

We ensure that relevant team members are aware of modern slavery risks and their responsibilities under this policy. We will expand our training programme as the business scales.

This statement is reviewed and approved by leadership annually. It was last updated in May 2026.
